Hye Quality Bakery

Yervant and Grace Ganimian established Hye Quality Bakery in downtown Fresno in 1957. For three generations the bakery continues to produce its famous Armenian Cracker Bread, Parag Hatz –thin bread. The Hye Roller, soft cracker bread, created in 1980 by son Sammy, ultimately produced the roll-up sandwich craze in America. The heritage of Hye Quality Bakery lives on with current owners Sammy and Paula Ganimian and their daughter Joy Ganimian Aller.
